The launch party for The Algonquin Round Table New York: A Historical Guide , by Kevin Fitzpatrick, was held at the Algonquin Hotel. There were many VIP guests, the descendants of the Vicious Circle: the great-nieces of Dorothy Parker, the grand-daughter of Murdock Pemberton, the nephew of Arthur Sullivan, the grandson of Deems Taylor, and the great-grand daughter of former owner-manager Frank Case. Among the special guests were band leader Dandy Wellington, showgirl-baker Dandy Dillinger, photographer Don Spiro, and many more.
The book is published by Lyons Press, and is available in bookstore and online now.
