August 22 is Dottie’s birthday, and we always celebrate it in a style that would befit her. We have two events in two Boroughs that are open to all. Our third annual Dorothy Parker Birthday Party at the New York Distilling Company will be Thursday, Aug. 21, at 6-9pm. Of course, this is where Dorothy Parker American Gin comes from, and a martini made with it can’t be beat. There will be specials, sample the spirits they distill at the Brooklyn operation, and come prepared to read your favorite Parker poems.
