One of New York’s best cultural spots is Symphony Space, on the Upper West Side just around the corner from where Dorothy Parker once resided. So it’s special that Symphony Space decided to remember the former neighborhood resident with an evening of her best short stories, read by stars of stage and and screen.
On May 21, at 7:30pm, the Symphony Space Selected Shorts: Dorothy Parker’s Wicked Pen, will be read by:
Hope Davis (About Schmidt)
Heather Burns (Dinner with Friends, Bored to Death)
Mary Louise Wilson (Grey Gardens on Broadway)
Parker Posey (The House of Yes, Party Girl)
Hosted by Matthew Love (Time Out New York)
With other actors to be announced. With special drinks and special guests.
