I’ve wanted to add a gallery of Dorothy Parker-theme tattoos for awhile. She famously got a tiny blue star inked on the inside of her bicep, sometime in the 1930s in the Village. The tattoo inspired a book (wrongly putting the tattoo on her elbow, which would hurt like hell) and seems to have sent many a Parker fan to the tattoo parlors of the world. Because today is Mrs. Parker’s birthday, let’s start the tattoo gallery.
Quotes are popular, but it also looks like caricatures are too. Have a look at the ink. Some are really creative.
Do you have a Dorothy Parker tattoo? Want to show the world? You can email a JPG to me and I will add it to the gallery below.
