The New Yorker — "A remarkable 1953 play by Dorothy Parker and Arnaud d’Usseau, revived by The Peccadillo Theater Company, proves that Parker was the mistress of more than the acid one-liner. The drama unfolds in a hotel not unlike the Algonquin, where six discarded women live in not so quiet desperation. All the actors are strong… Directed with Mankiewicz flair by Dan Wackerman."
Marian Seldes is a Tony Award (A Delicate Balance) and Obie Award (The Ginger Man) winner as well as a member of the Theatre Hall of Fame. David Greenspan has won Obie Awards as both an actor and playwright.
The Peccadillo Theater Company has been presenting critically acclaimed revivals of neglected classic American comedies and dramas for over a decade. Their last production, Elmer Rice’s Counsellor-at-Law, moves to Off Broadway in January 2005.
