Dorothy Parker has fans all over the world, as evidenced by the traffic to the site from more than 40 countries. We recently were named a site of the week (I think) by a newspaper in the Netherlands called Leeuwarder-Courant. I can’t be positive because this isn’t in English. But I think this is Dutch. If someone wants to translate it, please do. Here is what the Leeuwarder-Courant has to say:
Update March 25, 2014: Using Google Translate, which wasn’t around back in 2000:
Other than otherwise, this site on the writer/theater critic Dorothy Parker (1893-1967). Was notorious for its sharp criticism for stage include Vanity Fair and The New Yorker. Was a war correspondent in the Spanish Civil War and wrote stories and poems. This ode to her person and her sharp pen brings the surfer on the places in New York and Hollywood, where she was hanging like. Includes a bookshop, where everything is for sale from her, of course. For fans of Parker and of American culture.
