The Dorothy Parker Society of New York has announced the dates for Parkerfest 2000. This is our second annual event. Mark your Palm Pilots for Aug. 4-5, 2000, in Manhattan (of course). More information will be available as the weeks go by. Until then, see the Parkerfest 2000 information page and take the survey; we want to see what features the most people want to participate in. Also, see the page and photos from A Parkerfest 1999 to get a sense of what takes place when a few dozen Dot Heads get together (this isn’t a Star Trek convention, OK??)… there will be a sign-up list soon. The overwhelming response from the 1999 attendees was that it was a great day, but it was too jam-packed with activities, so we’re spreading it out over two days this year.
