We’ve resisted adding any “products” to the site for a long time. But people keep asking about how they can wear their devotion on their sleeve (or quarter-sleeve). We have a very simple design, which is just Mrs. Parker’s signature. There are womens, mens and doggie shirts here. The prices are reasonable (the shirt at right is $21.50, just about GAP price). Also included are coffee mugs and tote bags. We’re using Cafe Press, which seems to be the most reputable of all the online screen-printers we could find. A percentage of all sales will be given to the NAACP, which controls Mrs. Parker’s estate. Click here and start your holiday shopping early!
We also joined Apple’s iTunes program. We make a few crummy pennies whenever you download music or audio books from their site. The first one we’re trying is Life Stories: Profiles from the New Yorker. It has Truman Capote, Ian Frazier, Susan Orlean, and more. Download it here:
The second one we offer is Niki Lee, who is from Baltimore and performed her Parker show last year at Parkerfest. Her album is Here Lies Dorothy Parker and I’m really happy her songs are on iTunes:
