News from The Algonquin Hotel: two evenings you won’t want to miss. First, on March 15 in the Oak Room is an all-Irish invocation of the Round Table in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Frank McCourt (Angela’s Ashes), Edna O’Brien and Colum McCann are presenting Irish prose, poetry and music.
On March 29, Nat Benchley — Robert’s grandson — is performing his one man show Benchley Despite Himself. Tickets are $25 and can be reserved through the hotel at 212-840-6800.
I think these will both be great shows that shouldn’t be missed by anyone that appreciates literature, New York, and a nice night out on the town. (Special thanks to “Dorothy” for the great tip!)
